Hello,

I know very little about php and have a question. I bought a links script last week and after installing it I started to try to make the changes I needed for my site. I found that in the admin area there was no place to edit categories or even add any. So I emailed the script coder and asked him how I could do this. His response is...can't.

So, my question is could this script be changed to add categories? I know this is a tough question without seeing the script but I hope that someone could answer it?

Thanks.

Jere

I can't unswer for sure, but 99% that categories can be added, but depending on script codint style, that can be from very easy process to very hard.
But almost for sure categories can be added.

Thanks for the reply.

I should have posted what I found out. I contacted the person who created the program and was told that categories could not be added nor could they be changed. I now know that these are questions that I should have asked prior to making the purchase.

So, I have a program that is pretty usless to me. The great news is that I did find a links manager program that fits my need....and it's free. Support has been awesome and I am no longer looking for anything to replace it.
