What do you guys think of this new design for my web site: http://www.getsomenoise.com/test3.php ?

pretty solid, but I have to say I like the old design much better. It looks more like a news site than the new design.

I think the busier left hand side actually helps your design. Looks like it has been around longer and not as amateur.

Heh, the main reason it's not as busy anymore is due to several complaints about it being too busy.

I also prefer the old design. I think the menu works better on the old one than the new one :)

Well I too prefer the old menu, but now that I'm adding like 10 new features to the site that sort of menu doesn't fit there anymore. This is why I've chosen to switch to drop-downs, to save space.

Few changes? What are you talking about? Did you bother to look at both pages even?

Well I re-did the top part of the new design, check it out and tell me what you all think!

its kinda simple i was hoping for a more advancded design (eyecandy) nice to look at.

It's not nice to look at? Yes it's simple, but it's clean. I'd like a more interesting image in the top left, but I don't know what I could do really. Any good ideas? I'm going to add a lot of images advertising the coolest parts of the site when I get content and what not.

I also like the old one better.

1. You have too muck blank space in the new one, especially at the top right.

2. When watching your site the users eye is focused on the left side because of that dark margin at the right side, so center your page or make it adapt to every resolution so that it uses the whole screen.

I'll go against the grain here and say that I like the new design better, but I would like it centered like the old one. Do that, and I'll be happy! :D

But if I center it, my DHTML menus don't work. Hmmm, perhaps I'll try making it 100% width and not bothering with the DHTML menus.

The first test.php link doesn't work fix the link please. The second one loads, the design is simple and clean. Good job. Work on making the load time faster please.

Yeah I can't see the "Test3" one but I like the original, looks professional.

I can't see the test page either.. but the current one looks good enough to me. ;)

Nice logo, but the overall page is a little boring. Try a new color scheme.

Very nice design you have there. One thing I may recommend is that the lower left side of the page feels kind of empty because the right side has all of the images and the left has nothing except a google search.
