Just curious, why is the memberlist disabled?

How would you find it useful? :)

The member list can be a good way of just locating members and seeing what they have for sites, etc. I like that part, but I also realize that it can be a way for some idiot spammer to harvest IM's and e-mail addy's if he's patient enough to look through the list.

If you don't want your e-mail or IM displayed, you can always disable it.

The memberlist gives a nice organized list if you are looking for posts by a specific user or if you want to look at when people joined, how many posts they have, etc.
