I need a good graphic software and I have been contemplating buying either JASC Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop.
Has anyone tried both softwares and can recommend which one to get??

If you can afford it, definately go with Photoshop. Paint Shop Pro is only available on Windows (I use a Mac), and appears to have gone downhill since Corel bought it (in my opinion).

But, PhotoShop has a steep learning curve if you've used other paint apps before. PhotoShop is a professional graphics editing application, where Paint Shop Pro is.... not. :)

photoshop is best designing software in the market, so have no 2nd thoughts just go for it!
