What are your thoughts about Gmail (http://gmail.com). Have one? Want one? Couldn't care less?

Personally, I think its a really big step forward for Google, and should completely change the way we handle email. I've got a Gmail account, and I was VERY glad to switch over from hotmail.

Ok yes ill get one when they are public, but i think its crazy that people go buying invitations.....

when is that suppose to happen anyway? i could use a free gig of online storage. and not have my junk email address full and/or deleted on a regular basis.

I actually won a contest, someone was giving an invite away in their blog. It's quite amazing what some people are willing to trade/pay for one. There's a site: http://gmailswap.com made for exactly that purpose. Gmail is still in a beta testing period, I'm not sure anyone knows quite when Gmail will be public.

Yea, I think that guy who made that site was really smart to have done it. He's probably cashing in big time selling ads and stuff. That site gets massive hits.

I got a GMail account for $68 :o But its pretty dang cool, and I feel pretty good about the purchase.

Did you buy if on Ebay?
I might have one for sale, would anyone here be interested? I'll make another post if I do, though.

I have one account. I think it is the best e-mail services out there. It loads fast, and the interface design is good. I haven't ever gotten spam messages, and the e-mail storage space is more than necessary. I think I will use it for sending attachments instead of uploading images on websites. This will save bandwidth. :D
