Please review recently opened GmailMarket.com
Any suggestions about how I can improve the site, and get it more popular are appreciated. We will be holding a contest soon, with a Gmail invite as a prize.

You can improve it by getting a different board script.. In my opinion, PHPBB sucks. Try IPB. It's good, and it is free !

phpbb is so much simpler to manipulate though. my opinion on the site is that its nice a colorful and I wudn't change a spec on it...GJ

For me, phpBB seems to load faster than IPB.

Not bad, but i rather purchase and use VBB than anything else, but nice site, goodluck with it.

Looks real good.. except I think the logo is kinda... plain and.. ugly. The log in thing in the top right could be a little bit bigger too.

vB is the roxxor, but it's a bit pricy. I would cut down on the amount of subforums, that's only because empty forums kinda bug me. I would go with IPB, or a simple bb like Phorum. And when GMail goes public...well will the forums die? :(

Most likely it will.. unless it becomes big. Then they'll be able to twist stuff around to keep it alive.

That may be true, but IPB has more features and mods. It also has alot of better designs available. Ask anyone. :D

I find that phpbb is easier to use, but this debate can go on forever. IPB has just stopped releasing their latest version for free, but older versions are still free. I hope phpbb does not do that too.
