Hi guys,

I would appreciate, if someone explained me about images imported into flash

it's a pretty odd thing, because I have some trouble with pixels

I import an image that's let's say 300 x 100 px into a doc -movie that's the same size, but when I export the movie it's distorted even though I set jpeg quality to 100% and remove compression

the funny part is that's it's not always like that, so sometimes things work alright and sometimes not,

anybody has any ideas what I'm doing wrong

oh yes, I always import png format

Thanks,

Airnine

sometimes this happens if you arent on exact pixels. for example, you are at the co ordinate (4.6, 5.3) instead of (5,5). before exporting, select the image and in the properties inspector make sure its on an actual pixel rather than parts of pixels.

I know what you are saying, but even with taking care of positiong in properties I sometimes get a mismatch, if I slice an image into an image and a flash clip and can't get it properly aligned

then again I just might be thinking I checked the position in properties when I did not, in any case I was more than sure it was my fault

perhaps I should pay more attention to it in the future

thanks anyway, it's nice to get some help when one needs it

That's never happened to me. . I guess I did have the images set at 72 DPI then. . .

It's best saved as .PNG. Go to file >> import >> then choose an option. :)
