Hi today I'll be showing you guys a tutorial to get a cool crystal effect :)

First pull out the polygonal lasso tool and make the shape of the crystal and fill it with a blue color or any other one you like :)

Then Filter > Stylize > Emboss and use these settings below,

The duplicate the crystal layer and rotate a bit. Then create a new layer and fill it with blue. The mode to this layer to color so it gets rid of those ugly colors :)

Then pull out the dodge tool and start colouring away :) Make the corner extra bright and then make it less bright as you reach the tips of the crystal.

Then I decided to change my crystal to a red color and you can do so if you want to any other color. Alternatively you could just leave it. To change the color just fill the color layer you previously made to the color of choice.

Now you are done and you can add some extra things and my final product looks like,
