I am currently designing a web site and i am having problems with my menu bar! i am constructing the basic layout of the web site using CSS and for my menu bar i would like to have the capability of expanding and collapsing certain menus for easy access.


e.g

menu title 1

menu title 2

menu title 3


then when the viewer clicks on any of the menu titles a second menu will apear

e.g

menu title 1

menu title 2
sub-menu title 1
sub-menu title 2
sub-menu title 3
sub-menu title 4

menu title 3

A friend pointed me in the direction of Java to do this kind of thing but i know very little about this language. I have tried creating this menu bar using HTML but after a few days of and repeated failures for complete sucess i decided to take a different path!
