This is a great tutorial for learning HTML. I learned a lot from this!
It gives u all the basics and tells you a lot of helpful stuff. I think it also has css tutorials, but I havn't read them yet.

Hehe, that's where I learned HTML first. After that it was million other tutorials and forums learning different little things. Heh.

It is a good site for newbs too. I would post up a couple of pretty basic HTML tutorials I've written... but they're not in too high of demand.. so unless somebody wants me to, they aren't going up. heh

I learned at http://www.htmlgoodies.com - it is a real old site however, and hasn't been attended to in years, and so a lot of the information is not really relevant for today's web design, but he still writes in a nice fun style, and I'd still recommend it for absolute beginners.
