    It is very easy and fast to make web site in HTML. But it is also important to know all the tags of HTML because it all are very useful. I think HTML tutorials are the best to learn.

    HTML is written in the form of HTML elements consisting of tags enclosed in angle brackets (like <html>). HTML tags most commonly come in pairs like <h1> and </h1>, although some tags represent empty elements and so are unpaired, for example <img>. The first tag in a pair is the start tag, and the second tag is the end tag (they are also called opening tags and closing tags).

    Hello ..

    <head> tag stand for "header" or "heading". It's for placing misc . information like title, keywords, description, authorship, search engine instruction, defining javascripts and stylesheets.
    Actually tag itself does nothing, it just defines start and end of the html area.
    Example of proper <head> tag use:

    <head>
    <title>Site Name</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
    <meta name="keywords" content="work, webdesign, design, programmer, designer, PHP, css, coder, slicing, developer, blog, portfolio, blogfolio">
    <meta name="description" content="Personal blog and portfolio of belarussian freelancer">
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://www.thefen.net/wp-content/t... type="text/css" media="screen" />
    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="personal blogfolio RSS Feed" href="url" />
    </head>
