    That could have a huge impact on system security.

    I heard rumors about this earlier, but didnt believe it till now. To be honest, i would love to get a look at some of the code (because i am in the process of writing my own OS) although i wouldnt do anything illegal/stupid/malicious with it.

    Actually, if you want to look at some MS code, you CAN. MS DOES allow some code to be made available to developers. I don't know the specifics, but contact MS and ask yourself.

    i have heard about that, although i've heard that most of the available code isnt very interesting. mostly some interface stuff, and some libraries for writting your own Win32 APIs.

    You can't really trust anyone on the internet with the full source code. I am sure this will cause alot of security issues.
