Thread: Only nice thing I've ever made with PS

Only nice thing I've ever made with PS

This is the first thing I ever did in Photoshop and I'm not a designer. What I am extremely proud of is that I used not one single filter to create this. I didn't know such a thing existed back then.

Thank you all for the wonderful compliments. I am proud to "anounce" I will once again be messing with the wonderful app named photoshop. I have more time now and as of this Friday, I will have my new Apple Mac G5. So you see, there is no excuse to not play around with the Adobe PS.

Nice picture, pretty good for a first time and nice choice with the apple G5, friend who works in video and imaging tells me that if your doing things to do with video or images then macintosh is alot better than PC. Hope you enjoy using PS

yeah, I started using Photoshop a long while back but I've always done web design stuff with it, I've never gotten extravagant with it. Except for this one pic. But I hope to actually get into it now with the power a G5 holds, I think I can get into a lot more then just photoshop.

You're buddy is right, video editing and all that jazz is great with the Mac as well as music stuff. But I really want to hit PS and Illustrator hard core noww and it's a good time to do it being that I'm going to have this new G5.

Thanks for the compliment Marshall I greatly appreciate it.

Photoshop is mainly used for editing already existing images. If you want to create your own look into Corel Bryce and Cinema4D. Get yourself introduced to the tools of Photoshop, fool around, and see what you get.

Bryce is for 3D stuff Heros. Never heard of Cinema4D so I don't know.

Photoshop is mainly for 2D stuff AND image editing.

I'm not saying this is really good. Great job though, you're still learning I guess. I would reccomend you to practice. Good-tutorials.com is a good place for photoshop tutorials. Good luck with the designing !
