    One Million Host?

i'd like someone to tell me if http://onemillionhost.com is legit...one downfall they have is that if you exceed your bandwidth limit, they do not restore it until next month...if you choose to pay the exceeding level, they overcharge you...sounds like a rip. has anyone used them ?

    Hi, there.

Based on this forum post alone, I would be pretty wary. If someone needs to be sneaky about promoting their company, they might not have great integrity. I'm not a member of that forum, by the way...just found it on a search.

Most companies will close down your hosting account if you have exceeded your bandwidth, it is common sense. What would be the point of setting a bandwidth limit if the host is not giong to enforce it?

The company should email you when you have used about 85% of your bandwidth, incase you want to upgrade. I would hate it if one of my websites went down for a whole month, just because it is popular.

grrrr.....isaia with another spam!! HostBlimp said it best. They should provide a warning when you reach a certain amount. Our infrastructure is setup to notify our clients when their accounts are reaching a certain point. We also allow for about 10% overage to be used. In addition, you can upgrade to another plan directly from your control panel without any downtime. Even if that means moving to another server to support your bandwidth or disk space requirements. It is not common sense to shut off the site and its bad business! Customers deserve better than that.
