    Google AdSence

Not sure that''s the right place to start this thread, but there is no forum on AD and marketing so let''s consider that's a general web-design topic

What I would like to find out is how do they pay you. As far as I can see, they say "just sing-in and you''ll see "... I know their rate could change every day, but just to give an idea?

Do they pay for impressions or clicks only and how much in moyenne?

    Thanks.

They pay per click but the amount you receive per click varies wildly.

For example, I have personally seen with adsense where you might get 10 clicks but only make $.50.

On the other hand I also saw someone make $25 on only 5 clicks so it varies vary wildly.

    **** Google Adsense.

Oops did I say that outloud?

They only pay out if your total payout is 100 dollars or more, I was up to 94 dollars and some change, when they shut down my account for a TOS violation, which was complete utter bullshit. They did not explain why they shut it down, what the infraction was, did not even reply to a single email I sent them. So basically, they ran me 3 months of advertising for free. I feel I've been violated by my friendly neighborhood google. Such a shame

Yeah, nasty feeling but what actually the violation was? You don't even have an idea?

Did they not tell you the violation or are you just not telling us what the violation is? lol

I've had no problems having their ads on my site, been nothing but good to me.

Adsense has been good to me.

I can't make a living with it but it's enough to cover the costs of running the site

Adsense is a really good affiliate program out there. In fact it is the #1 affiliate program. Although it is strict, I like the payout rate. In 3 months I earned $100 from a site that got 50-60 unique visitors per day. I never ever updated that site and it had only one page LOL.

I typically make about $10/month on a site that gets about 1000 uniques/month or less.

    lol

I just do the adsense to make the payments for my hosting... I enjoy running the sites, so I couldn't care less about getting compensated for the time spent on them, that's done by me having something to do while doing them. lol

I have the same problem. I don't want to make a site competing with Optigamer the site I have been associated with for a year, and I know I couldn't possibly match up to it anyway.
